// About DailyFriend

An implementation partner for social care, not another AI vendor.

We help care organisations cut through the AI hype and act on what genuinely improves how they run, from a simple process fix to bespoke software we build and operate.

The sector is full of technology looking for a problem. We take the opposite approach: start with the problem, stay honest about what will actually help, and only build when building is the right call.

// In short

// Problem first

We diagnose before we prescribe, every time.

// Honest about tech

Sometimes the right answer is no build at all.

// Built and run by us

When we build, we own it end to end.

// Why we exist

The sector deserves straight answers about AI.

Care teams are stretched, budgets are tight, and most pitches oversell. Organisations get asked to buy technology before anyone has understood what would genuinely help, which is the wrong way round.

We exist to close that gap. Working out what will actually help is part of doing the job properly, not a separate exercise you pay for first. Then we implement, whether that means a sharper process, the right off-the-shelf tool, or bespoke software.

// What we care about getting right

We judge our work by three things, not just whether something shipped:

  • The problem gets solved. The real one, not a proxy for it.
  • You stay in control. Clear on what is happening and why, never sold to.
  • You come out looking good. Something you can stand behind with your board and commissioners.

// How we approach the work

A simple set of principles keeps us honest.

They keep our advice straight and our builds genuinely useful.

Diagnose first

We understand the real problem properly before we propose anything to build.

Honest by default

If the honest answer is a process change or no tech at all, we say so.

Build only when it helps

When we do build, it is bespoke, shaped around how your team already works.

Data handled with care

EU data residency and clear handling for sensitive care settings.

// Meet the team

Consulting depth, paired with the ability to build.

A small team that does the diagnosis and the delivery, so nothing gets lost in a handover.

Tell us what you are wrestling with. We will listen first, give you a straight answer rather than a pitch, and be honest about whether we are the right people to help.
